The Return to Intuition and Core Values- Tap into Your Inner Guidance System

By: Brittnee Fehr

In a world where it seems that ever where you turn you are being told what to do, how to act, what you are allowed to speak or share, remember that everything is an illusion. In order to navigate the somewhat rocky road ahead, the advice I’ve been given is worth sharing, in order to make the journey a little less bumpy. Please remember to still wear your seatbelt, but instead of choosing the back seat, realize that you are in the driver’s seat of your own life and that nobody else is in control of your vehicle but you. I hope that these words give you strength and power, especially on the days when you feel like your voice doesn’t matter or you feel too defeated to keep going.

In order to have the inner strength to speak your divine truth, you firstly have to be in the right kind of relationship with yourself. This relationship begins the moment you start to heal your heart and your own inner world. You start becoming more aware and concerned with yourself and your own thoughts and actions, rather than other peoples. This shift in mindset is the number one biggest realization that you will have, once you start walking down the path of soul expansion. Everything in the outer world will start to feel false, the deeper you dive inside your own soul, as the complete truth resides there. Once you reclaim your power and you realize your potential in life, and then step into your full sovereignty, you will find yourself no longer conforming to how society tells you how you should be living. You not only begin to set important and necessary boundaries with everyone in your life, but you also expect respect and honest communication.

Deep inside each and every one of us is our inner voice. On the days where you feel confused or overwhelmed with the wealth of information being thrown at you, and when you especially feel like you don’t know where to turn to for answers and the ultimate truth, go within and listen to your intuition instead of other human beings.

Have you ever studied a successful person? If you have, you will quickly realize that they did not get to where they are in life by listening to others opinions. Successful people have tapped into their inner guidance systems and fully trust where their ships are being sailed. No questions asked, they are unshakable and unstoppable, as they’ve taken the quiet time to gaze upon every inch of their being through the eyes of their higher self. They understand that their higher self always recognizes how worthy they are of feeling free. Especially in a world where you feel as if you are a prisoner most days, wearing chains that seem to slow you down, know that you can rise above and escape the control of the outside world.

In some people’s opinion, our current world seems to have gone mad. But in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Everybody is healing and it’s happening at different rates for each individual. A lot of people who feel as if the world that they once knew is crumbling, start to project their own beliefs and opinions on to others, expressing to friends and family that you “should” be doing things a certain way. You should be wearing a mask, you should watch the news for answers, you should be washing your hands or you should be social distancing. Amongst this outer chaos, hopefully, a light bulb will soon turn on inside of that magnificent brain of yours, reminding you that nobody is superior to you and your innate knowledge and intuition. Not one person, including Dr.’s, teachers, even the president, and especially not the mainstream news are exceptional to you.

As you continue to elevate by taking your life into your own hands, you will recognize that human beings are extremely programmable and you may discover that when you are speaking with a person in a position such as a Dr., they are a good majority of the time trying to convert you to conform to their ways, as they come from a place of superiority. For example, when a Dr. says you should take this pill to help ease your symptoms, realize that you do have free will and your choice to swallow that pill is entirely up to you. Perhaps instead of obeying because you feel powerless, intimidated or maybe not worthy to make that decision for yourself, I challenge you to try and work with that person in power and ask them what alternatives are available to you, in order to help with your healing process.

Listen to your gut, and always do what feels right to you. After all, a one-size fits all solution regarding health, does not work for everybody. Recognizing that many of the people who seem to be experts in their fields of study, may have ulterior motives or may even have blinders on when it comes to the range of knowledge and information that they can share with you, is extremely liberating and crucial for your personal growth. It is a great reminder that the experts who we put so much trust in, are human too, they also make mistakes and don’t know everything. Most of all, they are no better than you and I. This way of thinking doesn’t come from a place of ignorance or disrespect for certain professions and other people, but it allows every individual to take their personal power back into their own hands.

In particular, do not lose yourself, simply because you are in the presence of somebody who is in authority or seems to have more knowledge than you. You too can gain the same type of knowledge as anybody else that you interact with, if you desire to. A lot of people are forgetting about the infinite intelligence that is inside each and every one of us, therefore, do not sheepishly shove your own knowledge under the rug, simply because somebody appears to have more credentials than you, as this is yet another illusion.

Ultimately, this entire article should be a gentle and uplifting reminder, that it’s important to always do what’s best for you. Serve yourself, before serving others, and the only person that you should be responsible for or worried about is yourself and not other adults. When you lay your head down at night, you have to be okay with your actions and what is serving you and your highest good in this life. When you are in your utmost alignment, you understand that what is right for you, may not be right for somebody else, and you are very accepting of that.

As we all bravely navigate this holographic world together, we have free will to choose. We can decide to say I don’t want to live in a world of lies, false information and backwards history. You can choose to stand up and say, I will no longer tolerate fake food, fake interactions, fake entertainment, false success and happiness, and most of all, forced compliance. Nevertheless, it is also important to note that some of the people who are currently in power, such a government and authority figures, are well aware of how to abuse energy and push their influence. They are experts at knowing how to manipulate energy and the minds of those who do not think for themselves. Some people do not think for themselves out of sheer laziness, and others are too wrapped up in the system, being busy with their jobs, families and education. A lot of people do not blink an eye or even want to consider that perhaps the life as they know it, isn’t actually what they’ve always believed it to be.

Once you begin to think outside of the box and stop watching all mainstream news sources, and you finally stop relying on other humans to guide you, you can then step into your higher power and become in alignment with your true self. Far too many of us are afraid to question authority because it is what has been engrained in us throughout adolescence, the education system growing up and then reiterated in the working world. It seems as if you decide to go against the current, you will be shunned. If you dare to ask the deeper questions, you will be laughed at. Question anything and you are automatically labeled as hateful or insane, trying too hard or an attention seeking individual.

However, there is so much justice in shedding the lies that we have been fed from infancy. Eventually your why’s will be answered and the puzzle pieces begin to fit, as you see the grand scheme of things. Once everything clicks, your soul is truly free from the prison. Learn to break free, and fight for truth and freedom. Don’t be afraid or ashamed to tell everyone all that you’ve learnt and everything you know. Most of all, pass the truth onto your children, the leaders of this new world.

Lastly, as you think for yourself, and rise to your full power, because you are now living your truth, try to remember your core values. These values are with us from the very beginning of our time on earth, but for a lot of us, we have lost or forgot about them along the way. The best way to hear the gentle whispers of your soul, is to be in complete silence. Go out in nature, turn off your phone and television, leave your children with a babysitter for an hour or two, and simply, listen to your breath. In these quiet moments, your mind and spirit will speak to you and you will be enlightened with the truth. The ultimate truth about your existence. If you don’t discover anything the first time attempting to do this, try again later and eventually you will find that there is so much freedom in discovering true reality.

There are endless core traits and values that may surface for you as you learn to go within and trust your intuition over the external reality. Your inner belief system always shines through when you are in complete balance and harmony with yourself. The following is a short list of admirable traits and inner truths that will carry you far in life:

-show compassion and empathy for everybody in this life. The more compassionate your mind and the more sense of concern for other’s well-being, you will quickly discover that this is a source of true happiness

-what you put out into the universe will be returned to you

-the greatest worth is self-mastery

-the greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways

-be kind whenever possible. It is always possible

-well-being comes through action, not through prayer

-when you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others

Lastly, one of the simplest yet greatest lessons to hold near and dear to your heart is, in everything you do in life, treat others the way you would like to be treated.

My question for you is, which essential beliefs help to guide you? Take a moment today and make your own personal list.

When all is said and done, returning to your intuition and embracing your fundamental beliefs and values will make this beautiful ride we call life, a blissful and worthwhile experience. One that you can look back on when you take your last breath of air on earth, and as you smile to yourself with so much pride, you will have this deep sense of knowing that you’ve accomplished everything you have dreamed of and so much more because you talked, walked and stood strongly in your truth. You will finally be at peace knowing that you have completed your life journey with so much kindness, fearlessness and grace. Most importantly, you will comprehend that your success in life was not a coincidence but instead came from your willingness to embrace and trust that powerful voice from within.

Success! You're on the list.
